It seems that most people go through life showing little, if any concern for those around them, including even their close friends and family. What type of concern am I talking about? It's the simple everyday, well-wishes for others.
Oftentimes most people forget about the struggles of others and they tend to focus solely on themselves. These people then completely forget to ask how other people are doing, or how they are feeling, or how a specific problem is working out in their lives? If you are one of these self-centered people, then snap out of it! If you show concern for others, it will come back three-fold and there will be people beside you during your struggles. But if you remain to stay within your own bubble, then you will forever remain within your own bubble, even when you need the help of others.
- Ask how others how they are doing. This can be done immediately when you meet a person, or when you greet a friend.
- Send a short but sweet card in the mail letting your family know you are thinking of them.
- Smile at a stranger and ask them how their day is going.
- Bring flowers to a friend in the hospital or ill at home.
- Call a friend on the phone and be there to talk about whatever they need.
