The Early Risers v. The Late Risers: Morning Manners

Early mornings are one of those touchy subjects.  For the early risers, this is the perfect time of day! For the night owls, early mornings are rough and tumbly.  Whether you prefer the early or the late, morning manners should not fall short!

Wake up with a Smile! ~ This may seem impossible, but wow it will make such a huge difference for the rest of your day.  A smile will boost your mood and keep others around you cheerful.  Don't set your family, friends or co-workers in a bad mood just because you don't want to be awake!

Beautiful smiles make for a beautiful day!

Make a Yummy Breakfast! ~ We've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but in more ways than you may think.  Not only does it jump start your metabolism, but it sets you eating on the right track for the rest of the day!  Eating breakfast also allows you several minutes to just sit while enjoying great food!  Try coffee and blueberry waffles or oatmeal and fruit.  Yummy!

Wake Up 15 Minutes Earlier! ~  Yes, we know you don't like waking up early.  However, waking your body 15 minutes earlier than usual is a great way to start your day!  Maybe spend these extra 15 minutes enjoying a warm cup of coffee with your favorite creamer, snuggle up with your warm blanket and enjoy 15 invigorating minutes listening to Johann Sebastian Bach or even better pursue some reflective reading.  These extra minutes will help remove that morning stress from your day, and it's highly unlikely you will be late for work or school!

Best Tip: Enjoy your mornings, don't dread them, just plan better and embrace them!  If you love the mornings, this is your time to enjoy yourself, so utilize it!

  1. I wish I could be a morning person, but during the week days it's really hard. Although Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day I can only get to enjoy during the weekends, blueberrys in a toas and a coffe are the best.
But I can't agree more, a smile in the morning can make your day.
