You're Late for a Very Important Date!

We should, at some point in our lives, realize the importance of being on-time.  Not just on-time for work, but in every aspect of our lives.  You may think it's socially acceptable to walk into a meeting late so you can make your big statement, but it's anything but acceptable!  It's obnoxious, selfish and down-right rude!

Here are a few places timeliness is expected!

  • Work
  • Meetings or Conferences
  • Luncheon or Dinner Dates
  • Church
  • A Theater Production
  • Discussion Group Meetings
Here are few places you can give yourself 15 minutes of leeway!
  • Cocktail Party
  • A Book Signing (as long as you are the guest and not the author!)
  • A Picnic in the Park
  • A Play date at a Friend's House or the Zoo

People should not have to remind you to BE ON TIME.  It should be a priority of yours never to keep others waiting.  Remember, you are not the only person in the world and if you tend to be late on a regular basis, people will take notice and begin to start counting your other flaws!
