A Sweet Tooth Christmas Treat

Christmas cookies and treats are always one of my favorite aspect of the Holidays. It's such a great time of year to try new recipes, enjoy the more than usual amounts of sugar and to share those creations with those we love. Here's a start to my Christmas Cookie List for 2013, some recipes are new and others are tried and true favorites that can never be forgotten. I bet Santa would enjoy these too!

These are amazing in hot cocoa!

Chocolate Cake Balls - drizzled with cream cheese frosting
Winter Wonderland

Ginger Whoopie Pies: We added ginger to spice up a regular vanilla whoopie!

Homemade cupcakes filled with fresh strawberries before being baked!
A little bit of summer in the middle of winter!

How cute are these?!?

Put a cake pop stick in a marshmallow, dip the marshmallow in melted semi-sweet chocolate, let the chocolate settle and then add the eyes (these are found at most stores in the baking aisle), 2 pretzels for the antlers and the red cinnamon for the nose and let it completely dry standing up (you can do this my making holes in a cardboard box to keep them stable).
